Pursuant to the provisions of SDCL 6-13-4, notice is hereby given that the School Board of Summit School District 54-6, has declared the 2006 IC School Bus (engine has scored cylinder walls) as surplus property at the regular July 19, 2023 school board meeting, no longer necessary, useful, or suitable for the purpose it was acquired and has ordered the same sold by sealed bid.
Sealed bids for the 2006 IC School Bus will be publicly opened and read at the Summit School District 54-6 regular Wednesday, August 9, 2023 board meeting at 6:00 PM. Please mark bid envelope “Sealed Bid for 2006 IC School Bus”
The School Board shall sell such property to the highest bidder. Furthermore, it is the winning bidder’s responsibility to remove said items that are located at Northside Implement, 14088 SD-25 Webster, SD within a suitable time frame arranged through School Administration.
The above-described surplus property is being sold “as is-where is” with no warranty implied or expressed by the Summit School District 54-6. The Summit School District 54-6 reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities of any bid. The Summit School District 54-6 also reserves the right to award the bid to the highest responsible bidder as may be determined by the School Board.
