ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the Bus Barn Project will be received by the Summit School District, PO Box 791, Summit, South Dakota, 57266, up till 4:00 P.M. CDT, on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, and tabulated by the Business Manager & Superintendent at 4:00 P.M. CDT, of said day, with said bids to be presented to the School Board at either the next succeeding special or regular meeting of the Board, all in accordance with Board policy. Bid will be awarded by option.
Bids will be received for the following contract:
Bus Barn Project
Bid will be awarded by option. Option A: Demolition of existing bus barn structure, Option B: Build of one-level steel building, Option C: Concrete for building & apron, Option D: Bidders recommendation based on project scope.

The School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding.
By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to labor, materials, products, and supplies found or produced within the State of South Dakota
A resident bidder is allowed a preference as against the bid of any bidder from any other state enforcing or having a preference for resident bidders, equal to such preference.
