Due to the weather we will be rescheduling the GBB Region 1A First Round playoff games to Saturday February 25 and Second Round games to Monday February 27 @ 7 PM.. We have had to make a few adjustments to the officiating crews.

Bracket for the Region 1A girls basketball tournament.
With the possibility of weather coming this week, the Region 1A girls basketball tournament has been moved from Tuesday to Monday. The Mustangs will play Groton at 7:30 at Milbank Armory. The bus will leave Waubay around 5:00 on Monday.
The boys game at Leola Frederick on Monday will proceed as scheduled, with the bus leaving Summit around 3:20. Thanks for your understanding.
Update to the basketball schedule:
Due to the weather, the girls game with Leola Frederick has been cancelled. The boys game with Leola Frederick will be played on Monday, February 20th at 6:00 in Frederick.
Summit School is closed on Wednesday, February 15.
Due to the Interstate closure and blizzard warning, Summit School
will be 2 hours late on Wednesday, February 15. No NTHS. The science fair is postponed to Thursday. There will be a grab and go breakfast available.
Tonight's double header with Leola Frederick has been postponed to Wednesday, February 15 due to the blizzard warning. JV girls will start at 4:00. This is the only possible makeup day for the girls. Also, O.S.T. will be canceled for this evening due to the blizzard warning.

Girls Basketball - picked up at Summit School at 3:50. JH at 5, followed by JV and Varsity at Waverly South Shore.
Junior High Boys - picked up at Summit School at 4:00. JH game at Wilmot starting at 5:00.
Tonight's double header will be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/@summitschooldistrict1978/streams. We kickoff with the girls JV at 4:00.
It is also parents night! All JV and Varsity players have been given a letter with information to bring home. Girls players and parents will be announced prior to the girls varsity game. The boys players and parents will be announced prior to the boys varsity game.
